Medications targeting the Tie-2 pathway alone may have identical limitations. Preclinical proof-of-concept, including in vitro binding assays and in vivo efficacy in animal models, provides demonstrated superiority of DIG-KT over current medications in bevacizumab-resistant murine models of glioblastoma and pancreatic malignancy.
