The Goth subculture began in post-punk England during the early 1980s. The choice clothing and music from the movement are recognized globally now. For the research, Bowes and colleagues collected data on 4 nearly, 000 teens who took part in a long-running British study of children and parents. At age 15, participants gave info on self-harm, depressive disposition and any Goth identification.
